BLACK WIDOW MMA.

Black Widow MMA is a fitness and combat sports gym focusing on both the stand-up and ground game of Mixed Martial Arts. We offer Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, and MMA classes with both adult and youth programs, contact and non-contact.

Coach Betsabé is the founder and head coach — a trained martial artist who built this gym from the ground up to give people a real place to train, grow, and transform.

FREQUENTLY ASKED.

Do I need any experience to start training? +

Not at all. Most of our members walked in with zero experience. Our classes are designed for all levels — beginners train alongside more experienced students, and our coaches meet you exactly where you are. You don’t need to get in shape first. That’s what we’re here for.

What martial arts do you teach? +

We offer Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing and MMA. Whether you want to learn striking, ground game, or a mix of everything, we have classes that cover it all. Our coaches break down technique so you understand what you’re doing and how to apply it to each sport.

What should I wear or bring to my first class? +

Wear comfortable athletic clothing you can move in — shorts, a t-shirt, or leggings work great. For Jiu Jitsu it is preferred that you wear compression gear such as rashguards and it’s encouraged that you wear shorts without pockets to prevent snags while rolling. For Muay Thai, we encourage that you wear Muay Thai shorts eventually but you can practice in clothing that’s comfortable until you’re ready. Bring a water bottle and a towel. No shoes needed on the mat so we recommend coming in shoes that are easy to take on and off the mats. We also have Black Widow gear available if you want to rep the gym.

Do you offer a free trial day? +

Yes. We want you to experience the gym, the coaches, and the energy before you commit to anything. Come in, take a class, and see if Black Widow is the right fit for you. No pressure, no sales pitch — just show up and train. Your first day at Black Widow is free.

What are your membership options and pricing? +

We offer several membership tiers depending on how many classes you want to take and which disciplines you’re interested in. We also offer unlimited packages to get the most out of your training. We also have private training options. Ask at the front desk or message us for current pricing — we’ll find the right plan for your goals and budget.

Is this safe? I’m worried about getting hurt. +

Safety is a priority at Black Widow. Our coaches control the pace of every class and make sure technique comes before intensity. You’re not getting thrown into sparring on day one. We build you up progressively, and training partners look out for each other. This is a team environment, not a fight club.

Do you have classes for women? +

Absolutely. Coach Betsabé, the owner and head coach has created a space where women are welcome and empowered through combat sports. We have women of all levels training here every week. Whether you want to compete or just build confidence and learn self-defense, you belong here. We offer women’s only classes and co-ed classes so you can train at your comfort level.

How do I sign up or get started? +

Easy. You can sign up directly on our website, DM us on Instagram, or just walk in during class hours and we’ll get you set up. If you want to book a trial class first, you can do that online too. Don’t overthink it — just show up. That’s the hardest part, and we’ll handle the rest.
